A Health-concious Nation

Is the United states a health- concious nation? I believe that the United states is a health concious nation to an extent. Although they maybe a considered health concious nation they could better themselves. One way we can improve is by make medical care affordable for everyone and to those that aren't employed at this time, should also be taken care of somehow. At this time trying to improve the health care might be a difficult task to consider since the United States economy is such in a rut. They would need to raise taxes to help cover the health care of the poor and jobless. One example of a very health-conscious would be Spain. In Spain they don't pay for medical insurance or even worry the hospital bills because there healthcare is so much more advanced then our own, but there taxes are extremely high. In all I believe the United States is a health-conscious nation, but could become better.
